In this practical example, digital teaching and learning videos are combined with real-world research and application examples to actively engage students in the learning process. Students first analyse problems using familiar methods, identify their limitations, and then develop their own solution strategies using newly introduced approaches. By combining visual presentation, independent analysis and discussion, both the students’ subject-specific understanding and their motivation are enhanced. The materials can be used flexibly in face-to-face, blended learning and self-study sessions.
