The eTeach Network Thuringia supports teachers in implementing their ideas for the further development of teaching, learning and testing. The focus is on practical and future-oriented approaches that take up didactic, methodological and digital possibilities and are integrated into university teaching.

With the cooperative impulse projects and the eTeach open spaces, two funding lines are available that address different target groups and project sizes and create targeted scope for innovation, testing and further development.

The two formats focus on different aspects.

Use funding opportunities

The funding lines are announced annually and follow a two-stage application process. One Expression of interest is available until June 1 with the respective eTeach contact point The final application is then submitted to the eTeach Coordination Office. The selection is made by an award committee together with the Strategy Council. Approvals are sent out in the fall and the project starts at the beginning of the following year.

All further information can be found on the page of the respective funding format.

Cooperative impulse projects

The cooperative impulse projects promote cross-university and interdisciplinary cooperation. Teachers from at least two Thuringian universities jointly develop and test new teaching, learning and examination formats. The aim is to create sustainable and transferable solutions for digital university teaching and to strengthen the exchange between the universities.

eTeach free spaces

The eTeach open spaces are aimed at teachers who want to further develop their own courses in a targeted manner. Funding is available for projects that test new didactic approaches, integrate digital or media elements or strengthen the acquisition of skills by students. The results serve as inspiration and good practice for other lecturers.

Making good teaching visible

Results from funded projects are made visible and usable for university teaching in various ways:

Good Practice Platform

The Good Practice Platform brings together tried and tested teaching and learning concepts from Thuringian universities. It makes successful practice visible and offers inspiration for the further development of your own teaching. You are also welcome to submit your own examples of good teaching practice.

Dialog workshop

The dialog workshop promotes exchange between lecturers and creates space for transfer and collaboration. It offers a variety of opportunities to network across universities, develop ideas and initiate new collaborations.

Talks@eTeach

In the digital event series Talks@eTeach, specific practical projects are regularly presented and discussed together. The focus is on experiences, challenges and solutions from teaching practice.
