Why networking is crucial for university teaching

Exchanging ideas with colleagues is a key driver for the further development of your own teaching. Especially in the context of digital transformation, in which teaching, learning and examination formats are constantly evolving, this exchange is becoming increasingly important. University lecturers benefit from sharing experiences, gaining insights into other teaching contexts and learning about new didactic approaches.

Networking enables not only inspiration, but also concrete further development: challenges can be reflected on together, solutions discussed and innovative ideas developed further. This creates impulses that flow directly into your own teaching practice and contribute to quality development in the long term.

In order to promote this, the network offers various communication and exchange formats in online and face-to-face form, which make it possible to follow current developments, accompany innovative processes and make targeted use of opportunities for networking and cooperation.

Talks@eTeach

In this one-hour online format, lecturers present their best practice examples and talk openly about challenges, limitations and potential. The low-threshold offer invites exchange across university boundaries and offers space for discussion, reflection and new impulses for your own teaching. Registration is not required.

AI networking

This online format provides a moderated exchange of experiences on current AI topics in university teaching. Participants can present their own projects and ideas, gain insights into other approaches and explore specific opportunities for cooperation, for example with regard to joint projects or funding programs.

Dialog workshop

The dialog workshop is a face-to-face event that offers space for presentation and discussion, particularly for funded digital teaching projects. The focus is on personal exchange, networking and exploring opportunities for cooperation. The event is open to all interested parties.

Annual conference

The annual conference is the network's central networking format and takes place at a different university each year. It offers space for intensive exchange, the presentation of projects and nationwide networking. Participants gain insights into current topics and developments that come into focus every year.
