Bedarfe, Erfahrungen, Anforderungen: Lehrende für E-Portfolio-Befragung gesucht
How are e-portfolios currently being used at universities in Thuringia? What experiences have instructors had with this teaching, learning, and assessment format? What challenges exist, and what requirements must future solutions meet? The „Digital Assessment“ working group of the eTeach Network Thuringia is investigating these questions through a cross-university survey.
E-portfolios are becoming increasingly important in higher education. They enable students to document and reflect on their learning processes, projects, and skill development over an extended period of time. In this way, they complement traditional assessment formats and offer new opportunities to design competency-based learning and assessment.
To assess the current state of e-portfolio use in Thuringia, we are now seeking feedback on the experiences and opinions of educators. The survey is aimed at both educators who already work with e-portfolios and those who have not yet adopted this format. The focus is on practical experiences, challenges in implementation, requirements for technical and pedagogical solutions, as well as support and training needs.
The results of the survey will be compiled into a list of requirements. This list is intended to serve as the basis for evaluating suitable systems and for deciding on a potential Thuringia-wide e-portfolio solution. The goal is to provide needs-based support for the future development of digitally supported teaching, learning, and assessment formats and to incorporate the perspectives of faculty members at an early stage.
The survey takes about ten minutes to complete.
