Networking day at the University of St. Gallen

How are other universities shaping the digital transformation? What challenges do they face in developing sustainable learning spaces? And where can bridges be built across universities?

With these questions in mind, we traveled to the University of St. Gallen a few days ago for a networking day to exchange ideas with university didactics experts and teaching developers from the DACH region. The thematic focus was on the integration of AI, the teaching of future skills and the further development of qualitative learning spaces. A diverse group of experts with representatives from the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg, Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the University of Teacher Education Graubünden contributed their perspectives and experiences to the exchange.

A highlight of the day was the tour of the SQUARE education center of the University of St. Gallen, which was opened in 2022 and is specially designed for collaborative work.

After an intensive and inspiring day, we returned not only with fresh impetus for the further development of our own services, but also with the prospect of future cooperation in a developing network in the DACH region. We are now looking forward to the next steps in our collaboration with our colleagues from the region.
