On a deep dive with Midjourney

Results from the workshop

Two intensive workshop days with the Midjourney image AI machine under the guidance of graduate media designer and AI trainer Jan Gericke showed just what is possible with this tool. All of the participants did their best to create creative, aesthetic image compositions with deceptively realistic looks in any style in a matter of seconds - dogs and cats were particularly popular subjects of the compositions. Nevertheless, the above image creation won the internal competition at the end of the workshop thanks to its originality. >>> Click here for a gallery of other prompt results.

Alongside the excitement of what is possible with this tool, however, there is also an uneasy feeling about what this development means for creative people in artistic professions. It is therefore important to familiarize yourself with the possibilities and limitations of such AI machines and to use them responsibly.

For interested students and teachers, we therefore offer numerous introductory courses on the prompting of various AI tools that can be used to support teaching, learning and testing. Take a look at our offers.
