Midjourney Advanced - Generative image AI in teaching

Dear teachers,

We are pleased to announce an extremely exciting and practice-oriented workshop that deals intensively with the use of generative image AI in university teaching.

This course is a unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of AI-generated images and gain valuable skills for use in your everyday teaching.

The workshop will take place in presence at the Bauhaus University Weimar, on 16.9. and 17.09.2024 from 9:00 -15:00 incl. lunch break.

The lecturer is graduate media designer Jan Gericke. He is creative director and AI trainer at AWED - Design und Markenkommunikation (http://awedstudio.com/ ). Courses and training https://awed.ai/.

Contents of the workshop:
- Gen AI in teaching and learning: Introduction to the possible applications of generative image AI in university teaching.
- Midjourney in practice: From the initial idea to the professional image - learn how to use Midjourney effectively.
- Midjourney Advanced: Expand your skills with advanced techniques and complex commands.
- Interactive exercises: Put what you have learned directly into practice and receive valuable feedback.
- Troubleshooting and limitations of AI: Learn how to overcome typical challenges.

The workshop is aimed at both advanced students and beginners with basic knowledge of generative image AI. It is particularly suitable for teachers from the fields of media informatics, media technology, art, design and layout.

 

Important note: Places for this workshop are very limited and experience has shown that they are in high demand. We therefore recommend that you register as soon as possible to secure a place.
