The term digital examination covers all examination scenarios in which at least the processing of the examination, including the submission by the students (student perspective!), takes place at least partially in digital form. An examination is digital if the students come into contact with digital processing media during the examination. Digital audits include both on-site audits, z. e.g. in examination centers, as well as digital remote examinations or online examinations.
A digital workflow during the phases of preparation, correction, inspection or archiving of an audit is irrelevant for classification as a digital audit.
Important: The terms „digital inspection“ and „electronic examination“ are not congruent, as the latter has a legal basis in examination law. context.
