Networking Event for Educators: Focus on AI

Many teaching projects involving generative AI are being developed at universities in Thuringia, often without the participants being aware of one another. The eTeach Network Thuringia is therefore hosting an event at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences on October 29, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In a moderated discussion, faculty and teaching support staff will exchange experiences at three discussion tables:
- AI & Professional Development: Professional Development Opportunities for Educators in the Network, with a Focus on AI@eTeach
- AI & Writing: Generative Tools in the Writing Process
- AI Chatbots & Application Development: Building Your Own Applications Based on AI Models
At the end of each session, there will be specific points of reference and next steps. However, the program also includes time for individual discussions.
Personal experience with AI in teaching situations is helpful; in-depth technical knowledge is recommended for the third workshop.
