Workshop on "Digitalization in studies and teaching"
Almost 50 participants from nine Thuringian universities came to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar on 19 December to discuss cross-university issues relating to the digitalization of studying and teaching. Representatives from university management, as well as from the Thuringian Ministry of Education, IT managers, students, academic staff and experts in the digitalization of teaching were motivated to come to an agreement on joint development processes for cross-university solutions.
The workshop started with a development phase that led to a firework of ideas. After the subsequent three keynote speeches, there was room for encounters and the opportunity to concretize ideas. Overall, the participants were enthusiastic about the pleasant atmosphere, praised the creative approach and expressed their gratitude for the insights provided.
The results of the workshop will be translated into concrete projects and incorporated into considerations for the Thuringian digital strategy 2021 to 2025.
