The networking event focused on cross-university exchange regarding innovative teaching concepts, as well as a joint exploration of the challenges posed by digital transformation in academic studies and teaching.
New self-study course „genKI driver's license for teaching“ on the Virtual Campus Thuringia

The 120-minute self-study course provides basic orientation knowledge on how generative AI works, highlights potentials and limitations and shows concrete application scenarios for university teaching. There is a particular focus on the considered and responsible use of the technology.

The focus is on innovative teaching, learning and examination concepts that are aimed in particular at developing so-called future skills. These include both technical and interdisciplinary skills such as problem-solving, collaboration and self-organized learning - with a particular focus on digitalization and artificial intelligence.

The eTeach network retreat on February 5 and 6, 2026 in Weimar focused on cross-university products such as AI qualifications, examination formats, Moodle offerings and future skills formats.
