With <strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"732\">29 applications submitted for eTeach free spaces<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"786\">19 applications for cooperative impulse projects<\/strong> this year's funding round achieved an impressive response - a clear sign of the continuing high level of innovation among teachers at Thuringian universities.<\/p><p data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1334\">The diversity and quality of the concepts submitted shows how committed and creative teachers in Thuringia are in developing digital and hybrid learning formats. All of the ideas submitted are evidence of great creative drive, interdisciplinary thinking and the aspiration to prepare students for their future professional roles in the best possible way.<\/p><p data-start=\"1336\" data-end=\"1588\">The following will be funded in the coming year <strong data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1406\">Three cooperative impulse projects<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1411\" data-end=\"1444\">five eTeach open space projects<\/strong>which make a special contribution to transfer, the further development of digitally supported teaching and cross-university cooperation.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1590\" data-end=\"1593\" \/><h3 data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1634\"><strong data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"1632\">Cooperative impulse projects 2026<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"2025\">The <em data-start=\"1639\" data-end=\"1668\">Cooperative impulse projects<\/em> connect teachers across subject and university boundaries. They enable curricula to be rethought, innovative examination formats to be tested and interdisciplinary learning environments to be designed. The funded teams address both technological and didactic challenges and develop solutions that can be used by many universities.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2081\"><strong data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2079\">On-Campus Automated Assessment Suite (OCAAS)<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2706\"><strong data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2135\">Gera-Eisenach Cooperative State University &amp; University of Jena<\/strong><br data-start=\"2135\" data-end=\"2138\" \/>A team around <strong data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2181\">Prof. Dr.-Ing. Falk Liebold<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2216\">Prof. Dr. Holger Cartarius<\/strong> is developing a Moodle-based system for <strong data-start=\"2260\" data-end=\"2298\">Continuous competence diagnosis<\/strong> in STEM degree programs. Instead of a few summative exams, OCAAS offers regular, structured feedback via an interactive skills dashboard.<br data-start=\"2448\" data-end=\"2451\" \/>The tool extends Moodle to include complex types of scientific tasks and helps students to track their learning progress transparently. Teachers benefit from anonymized learning progress data to better target their formats.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"2708\" data-end=\"2764\"><strong data-start=\"2712\" data-end=\"2762\">AI tutor in project-based teaching (KI-TuProL)<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"2765\" data-end=\"3249\"><strong data-start=\"2765\" data-end=\"2799\">FH Erfurt &amp; University of Erfurt<\/strong><br data-start=\"2799\" data-end=\"2802\" \/>Under the direction of <strong data-start=\"2824\" data-end=\"2844\">Prof. Rolf Kruse<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"2872\">Dr. Hasnain Bokhari<\/strong> a digital <strong data-start=\"2896\" data-end=\"2908\">AI tutor<\/strong>which accompanies students in project-oriented teaching settings. The aim is to use AI tools in a reflective, responsible way so that they contribute to learning rather than replacing it.<br data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3099\" \/>The project combines didactic concepts of AI literacy with technological assistance and evaluates the tutor directly in real courses.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"3251\" data-end=\"3331\"><strong data-start=\"3255\" data-end=\"3329\">MI(N)Tmachen! - Students design learning opportunities for elementary school<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"3332\" data-end=\"3844\"><strong data-start=\"3332\" data-end=\"3367\">University of Erfurt &amp; TU Ilmenau<\/strong><br data-start=\"3367\" data-end=\"3370\" \/>An interdisciplinary project team around <strong data-start=\"3408\" data-end=\"3428\">Dr. Dagmar Brand<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3433\" data-end=\"3460\">Dr.-Ing. Stefan Griebel<\/strong> develops practical, digital and analog learning materials for primary school lessons. The five selected projects show how targeted microinnovation can change teaching in the long term.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"4162\" data-end=\"4207\"><strong data-start=\"4166\" data-end=\"4205\">Water &amp; Wastewater Teaching Toolbox<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"4208\" data-end=\"4630\"><strong data-start=\"4208\" data-end=\"4268\">Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena - Prof. Dr.-Ing. Paul Engelke<\/strong><br data-start=\"4268\" data-end=\"4271\" \/>Following a successful first project phase, the digital teaching toolkit is now being expanded to include the topic of <strong data-start=\"4365\" data-end=\"4387\">Waste water treatment<\/strong> expanded. The toolbox combines self-study units, video formats and H5P activities for internationally oriented environmental engineering courses and offers maximum flexibility through linguistically adaptable and modularly structured content.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"4632\" data-end=\"4683\"><strong data-start=\"4636\" data-end=\"4681\">Digitally supported teaching in sensor technology<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"4684\" data-end=\"5018\"><strong data-start=\"4684\" data-end=\"4744\">Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena - Prof. Dr. Alexander Richter<\/strong><br data-start=\"4744\" data-end=\"4747\" \/>This project expands teaching in sensor technology to include modern digital elements that facilitate access to complex measurement principles. Digital tools and materials are intended to better illustrate practical examples and enable students to learn from any location.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"5020\" data-end=\"5068\"><strong data-start=\"5024\" data-end=\"5066\">Digital exercises for stochastics<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"5069\" data-end=\"5474\"><strong data-start=\"5069\" data-end=\"5120\">University of Applied Sciences Erfurt - Dipl.-Math. Anja Hau\u00dfen<\/strong><br data-start=\"5120\" data-end=\"5123\" \/>With the Moodle plugins <strong data-start=\"5146\" data-end=\"5155\">STACK<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"5160\" data-end=\"5172\">JSXGraph<\/strong> new, interactive and randomized stochastics tasks are created.<br data-start=\"5239\" data-end=\"5242\" \/>Students receive individual feedback and use visualizations to better understand challenging mathematical content. Computer science students in particular benefit, as statistics is a cornerstone of AI applications.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"5476\" data-end=\"5523\"><strong data-start=\"5480\" data-end=\"5521\">AI flashcards for IT security<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"5524\" data-end=\"5797\"><strong data-start=\"5524\" data-end=\"5583\">Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences - Prof. Dr. Ralf C. Staudemeyer<\/strong><br data-start=\"5583\" data-end=\"5586\" \/>A digital card index box supports students in learning key IT security content independently. AI-supported mechanisms are designed to adaptively accompany learning behavior and promote learning strategies.<\/p><h5 data-start=\"5799\" data-end=\"5872\"><strong data-start=\"5803\" data-end=\"5870\">GELiFEM - Gamified e-learning for finite element methods<\/strong><\/h5><p data-start=\"5873\" data-end=\"6157\"><strong data-start=\"5873\" data-end=\"5913\">TU Ilmenau - Dr.-Ing. Stefan Griebel<\/strong><br data-start=\"5913\" data-end=\"5916\" \/>The project extends existing FEM learning opportunities with gamified quiz elements and role-play scenarios in iSpring. From AI-supported learning guides and formative skills diagnostics to gamified engineering tools, international teaching kits and early STEM support approaches, the range of topics that teachers have driven forward this year.<\/p><p data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"1058\">What all projects have in common is the aim of providing better support for students, making learning processes more transparent and embedding modern technologies into university teaching in a meaningful way. The diversity of approaches - from mathematics, computer science and technology to subject didactics, environmental and security issues - underlines how broadly digital education is now anchored in Thuringia.<\/p><p data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1333\">2026 will once again show how creatively and future-oriented teachers in Thuringia are working on the further development of learning and teaching and how diverse the impulses are that flow from Thuringia into the nationwide discussion on digital university
