KI@eTeach 2026: AI training for teachers

Competent use of AI in teaching

Since February 16, teachers at Thuringian universities have been able to register for the continuing education series "KI@eTeach" register. The aim of the series is to provide teachers with practical training in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and at the same time to teach students how to use AI competently.

The Intensive weeks from March 16 to 27, 2026 offer 90-minute modules online every day from 13:00 to 14:30 via BigBlueButton, which can be booked individually. Each module combines input presentations, practical exercises and opportunities for exchange. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate.

The contents range from AI basics and tools such as Leonardo AI or Perplexity AI via Examination task optimization with AI up to Ethics, sustainability and critical reflection on AI in teaching.

Participation is free of charge, registration and certificate of participation are via BigBlueButton with full name.
